Our mission

Why DebtSolvedza exists

You're not the only one

Right now, millions of South Africans are borrowing money just to buy food, pay for electricity, or keep their children in school. Wages have not kept up with the cost of living. For many households, taking on debt is the only way to get through the month.

If you're behind on payments, getting calls from collectors, or watching money come off your salary before you even see it — this is not because you were careless. It is happening to millions of people, in every province, in every kind of job.

The real problem: knowing who to trust

There are real, qualified people in South Africa who can genuinely help with debt — registered debt counsellors, attorneys, credit consultants. But this industry also has a serious trust problem. Some companies ask for money upfront before doing any real work. Some pressure people to sign immediately. Some make promises they cannot keep. The problem is serious enough that regulators have taken action — including recent orders forcing well-known companies to refund customers who were signed up unlawfully.

If you don't already work in this industry, there is usually no way to tell a genuine, registered professional from someone who isn't — not from a website, and not from a confident voice on the phone.

What we built instead

DebtSolvedza exists to solve that problem.

Every debt specialist is checked

Either against the official register for their profession, or — where no such register exists — against real business and identity records.

You decide what happens next

At most 3 verified debt specialists will ever be allowed to contact you about one request, and only after you have given your permission.

Nobody can lock you in

Nobody can make you sign anything through us. If you change your mind, one tap stops all further contact.

You can check for yourself

We tell you exactly who is reaching out, and link you straight to the real, official register so you can confirm it yourself.

We are not a debt counsellor, an attorney, or a lender. We are the place that connects you to one, safely.

Why this matters to us

This is not an abstract business idea to us. The pressure on household budgets in South Africa is real, and it falls hardest on people who are already working hard just to stay afloat — often people who are targeted twice: once by circumstances outside their control, and again by an industry that has not always been honest with them.

We cannot fix the economy. What we can do is make sure that when you're ready to ask for help, you're not taking a gamble on who you're asking.
